Covid effects on the economy in the Nordics: Nordic Economic Policy Review 2022

What effects has Covid had on the macroeconomic policies and the labour market? Are they different for men and women? What are the effects of school closings and online teaching? These are some of the issues that will be presented and discussed during the next peer-review conference of the Nordic Economic Policy Review.

The conference will take place at the Nordic House in Reykjavik on the 27th of October and we welcome you to join us either in person or online.

General information

Each year, the review produces and presents economic research related to a different topic high on the Nordic agenda. The peer-review conference is an opportunity for economists and others working with the subject to participate in the discussion and process of the following publication.

The event is free of charge, but we kindly ask participants intending to participate in person to let us know if they are prevented to do so after registering.

The upcoming issue will be launched during spring 2022 and is edited by professor emeritus Harry Flam, IIES, Stockholm University, and professor Oskar Nordström Skans, Uppsala University.

The first edition of the Nordic Economic Policy Review was launched in 2009 by the Nordic Ministers of Finance. The review strives to make the latest economic research accessible to decision makers as well as to a broader audience and to contribute to Nordic knowledge exchange on economic policy issues and challenges. The review is produced by the Nordic Council of Ministers and Nordregio.
