Northern Europe's biggest festival has announced 24 new acts for its 2026 edition, expanding the line-up with names ranging from globally established innovators to some of the most compelling emerging voices of the moment. An impressive 16 countries are represented in today's reveal for Roskilde Festival's programme, which will ultimately include more than 200 artists. One of today's highlights is Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson. Despite her young age, she already takes the biggest stages with confidence and uses her platform to speak out against oppression and injustice, advocating for inclusion, particularly for sexual minorities. Her latest album, Midnight Sun (2025), features collaborations mainly with women and queer artists, blending house, Brazilian funk, and R&B into the perfect summer Scandi-pop soundtrack. Another key addition is David Byrne, whose influence across art-rock, performance, pop culture, and activism has inspired musicians and fans for decades and continues to reverberate. Known both for his work with Talking Heads and his genre-spanning solo projects, Byrne will bring a show that blends bold musical experimentation with a distinctive visual identity. British rapper Little Simz, who first appeared at Roskilde Festival in 2016 and has since become one of UK's most acclaimed artists, winning a Mercury Prize and a Brit Award, will also return in 2026 to perform at the festival's iconic main stage. Irish rap, Australian indie-rock and Pakistani sufi music A rare double concert with Yung Lean & Bladee, two of the most influential figures in Scandinavian underground rap, is also added to the program. So are French singer and producer Oklou, and the Irish rap trio Kneecap, well-known for their political bite and fierce social critique. US artist Audrey Nuna - who blends dreamy R&B with hard-hitting rap and moreover currently stars as the voice of the character Mira in K-Pop Demon Hunters, Netflix's most-watched film ever - is likewise confirmed. The new additions further include British club-rapper Esdeekid, Australian indie-rock duo Royel Otis, British-Canadian R&B vocalist Rochelle Jordan, Brazilian singer-songwriter Bruno Berle, Pakistani ensemble Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwali, and many more.
