Roskilde Festival, Northern Europe's largest non-profit music festival, today announces 28 new artists for its 2026 edition, taking place 27 June - 4 July. The new additions bring the total number of confirmed acts to just over 100, with around 180 music artists set to perform across the eight-day event. The latest names include Addison Rae, the Grammy Award nominated breakout singer who has received critical acclaim and global fan praise following the release of her 2025 debut album, Addison. Also featured is British rock band Wolf Alice, who have received a Mercury Prize nomination for each of their first four albums, most recently 2025's The Cleaning - a feat unmatched in the history of the prestigious award. Returning to Roskilde Festival for the first time in 12 years is Swedish pop icon Lykke Li, who has shaped 21st century pop with her melancholic and cinematic songwriting, and is set to release her sixth - and possibly final - album, The Afterparty, this May. "Roskilde Festival 2026 brings together some of the defining movements in international and Scandinavian music right now. Lykke Li's return underlines her enduring influence on contemporary pop, while Addison Rae represents a new generation reshaping the genre. Highlighting the rock scene, Wolf Alice have grown into one of the most significant British bands of their era," says Thomas Sønderby Jepsen, Head of Music at Roskilde Festival. Metal, global pop and voices from across Latin America and the Middle East Today's announcement also highlights a strong presence of heavy music, including noise rock from Canada's Truck Violence, psychedelic doom metal from the UK's Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, high-intensity screamo from American band Lord Snow, and Norwegian punk outfit Honningbarna, known for their explosive live shows. The programme further extends across Latin America and the Middle East, with Peruvian cumbia pioneers Los Mirlos, Brazilian singer Liniker, Bolivian-American collective Los Thuthanaka, Colombian artist Indus and Egyptian rapper Marwan Moussa. Spanish acts BB Trickz and 1111 also join the line-up, alongside Danish duo Vanessa Amara, internationally recognized for co-producing Rosalía's latest album LUX. "Musical diversity remains at the core of Roskilde Festival. We always strive to include artists and currents from all over the world. In recent years we have seen more artists embracing their native language, and that diversity is something we also want to reflect on our stages, where Spanish and Latin American names, among others, are strongly represented this year," says Thomas Sønderby Jepsen.
