Roskilde Festival unveils complete 2026 lineup

K-pop star Jennie, and rapper Ken Carson are among the 20 names completing the music lineup for Roskilde Festival 2026. Altogether the independent, non-profit festival giant features 177 music acts as well as more than 90 names within art and activism, spread across a total of 16 stages and festival venues.

Northern Europe's largest festival can now reveal the final 20 music acts, completing the lineup. At the same time, Roskilde Festival is releasing its schedule, offering an overview of all concerts and events and making it possible for participants to plan their festival experience across stages and days.

At the top of today's announcement is South Korean pop star Jennie, who plays a central role in the global rise of K-pop, first as part of the successful group BLACKPINK and later with her solo debut Ruby (2025).

The album, featuring contributions from major artists such as Dua Lipa, Doechii, and Kali Uchis, has been praised by leading international media including Rolling Stone and NME.

A truly exceptional experience is in store when Jennie takes the main stage with her energetic and razor-sharp pop sound and a full ensemble of dancers.

"Jennie is impossible to ignore when trying to understand where pop music is heading. She is at the very centre of the global rise of K-pop, which is now, for the first time, moving into the top tier of a Danish festival lineup. The addition of Jennie reinforces what Roskilde Festival is-and is meant to be: a festival that reflects the present tendencies while pointing towards the future", says Roskilde Festival's Head of Music, Thomas Sønderby Jepsen.

Rappers and music from Greenland, Palestine, and Ukraine
The final 20 names also include American Ken Carson, a prominent voice on the rage rap scene, known for heavy beats, distorted vocals, and punk-inspired energy.

Among the newly announced names are also American soul singer Jalen Ngonda, and rapper Bia, as well as the alternative rock duo Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, and Danish rap legends Malk de Koijn.

The lineup also features music from Greenland, Palestine, and Ukraine, represented respectively by Tarrak, techno producer Sama' Abdulhadi, and Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava.

The 20 new additions join an already extensive music programme featuring international headliners such as The Cure, Gorillaz, Zara Larsson, Addison Rae, Clipse, and David Byrne, as well as acclaimed artists including Kneecap, Lily Allen, Little Simz, Wolf Alice, Ethel Cain, Audrey Nuna, and Lykke Li.

"This year's music programme offers the breadth, depth, and quality that a Roskilde Festival lineup should embody-from the most genre-defining and leading artists of today to a strong selection of emerging names and new trends. 177 acts from 37 countries reflect a wide diversity and point to where music is heading, with more artists performing in their native languages, plenty of electronic music, a strong local scene, and a clear focus on the live experience. Above all, there is a playful and curious approach to music, where artists move across genres and experiment with sound and expression. I would strongly encourage everyone to explore the programme with curiosity", says Thomas Sønderby Jepsen.

Art, roller disco, and plenty of films
On top of the music programme, Roskilde Festival also presents an extensive programme of art and activism. More than 90 installations, performances, talks, and activities from over 30 countries highlight some of today's most pressing themes. And in the festival's new cinema, simply named Cinema, festival participants can experience everything from Oscar-winning films to late-night horror screenings and documentaries.

This year's art and activism programme revolves around themes such as peace, community, and visions of the future.

The global Piece for Peace Movement creates large-scale graffiti pieces carrying messages of peace and community. The Jamaican collective 1Guh Watch brings the power of dancehall into a performance centred on creativity and community, while participants can also try out different moves in dance workshops held during the first days of the festival.

Across the entire festival site, the air is filled with celebration and magic as the performance group Feerne appear out of nowhere with their glittering, grotesque queer fairy universe-complete with wings, megaphone, and magic wand.

Festival participants can also experience roller disco, meet the Danish national skateboarding team, and take part in workshops with Greenpeace and the Nordic Climate Justice Coalition, where T-shirts or bags can be given new life with prints of climate-related slogans.

"The art at Roskilde Festival meets the participants in a very engaging way. It is immediate and direct, and it connects with participants where they are. This aligns with one of the current trends in contemporary art, where there is a playful and optimistic approach-even when addressing serious themes. This year's art and activism programme is rich in colour, costumes, role-play elements, and performance. It is art that responds to the present and its challenges, while also embracing and contributing to the festival atmosphere, creating space for celebration and offering hope for change and a better future. And this is the very purpose of Roskilde Festival", says Signe Brink Wehl, Roskilde Festival's Director of Art.
