Roskilde Festival adds new international and Danish artists to 2026 line-up

15 new music acts have been announced for Roskilde Festival 2026, highlighting a handful of international names and trailblazing Danish artists. More acts will be revealed before the line-up is complete. Today, the festival also presents the first batch of names for its art and activism programme.

A selection of international music acts has been added to the Roskilde Festival 2026 line-up, reflecting current and emerging movements across genres and scenes.

Puerto Rican artist Young Miko is among the additions, having gained global attention with her blend of trap, reggaeton and Latin pop as well as collaborations with Bad Bunny, Feid, Karol G, and Billie Eilish. She is joined by French act Igorrr, whose live performances fuse death metal, opera and electronic music.

Also announced are Norway's Vilde Tuv, UK producer Blawan, British collective Shovel Dance Collective and Bolivia's Susobrino, each contributing distinct approaches spanning experimental pop, club music, folk reinterpretation and a rhythm-driven electronic journey.

"As a major and independent festival, we have a unique opportunity to highlight artists on the verge of breakthrough and connect them with a large, diverse, and embracing audience. There is something profoundly powerful in the moment when an artist meets a new crowd for the first time. Supporting trends and artists across the global music scene is a vital part of the musical ecosystem - and one of our most important missions", says Roskilde Festival's Head of Music, Thomas Sønderby Jepsen.

Danish artists reflect global trends
The announcement also features a strong group of Danish artists, underlining the breadth of the current local scene and how iconic Danish artists, bold new voices, and contemporary trends intersect across generations.

New additions include The Savage Rose, TV-2, Zar Paulo, Eee Gee, AySay, Cuirass, Smag På Dig Selv, and Angående Mig who will present a specially staged experience merging music and performing arts.

"The Danish music scene is thriving these years. A strong wave of new artists and a renewed confidence in using the Danish language in lyrics are emerging. The trend of embracing one's own language is also becoming evident internationally, contributing to a rich diversity of expression", says Thomas Sønderby Jepsen.

Roskilde Festival's music programme now includes 159 acts, and features major international artists such as Gorillaz, The Cure, Zara Larsson, Clipse, Lily Allen, David Byrne, EsDeeKid and Kneecap. And the line-up is not fully revealed yet - more to come in April.

First names for art and activism programme unveiled
Roskilde Festival has a long tradition of presenting cutting-edge art and activism as part of its programme. Today, the festival announces the first 14 artists for a programme that will feature a wide array of some of the strongest voices shaping the future of contemporary art.

Social and societal engagement, along with performance art, play a central role in today's announcement, reflecting some of the leading trends in contemporary art-trends that align closely with one of Roskilde Festival's core values: that art can make a difference and drive real change.

Danish-Turkish Noah Umur Kanber presents the performance I Feel Like a Piece of Paper, exploring personal encounters with public systems, while Swedish Andreas Haglund's work Feral Fantasies unfolds as an intense dance performance about power and desire.

Danish-Azerbaijani artist Sahar Jamili collaborates with young people from a social housing area on community-driven art, and Slop Plot, an AI-generated installation by Danish artist Esben Holk, invites participants to co-create a shared archive of digital memories.

Participants can also experience Enter the Flesh, a sci-fi performance by the international duo Dorotea Saykaly and Emil Dam Seidel, and the huge installation The Long Way Around by the award-winning British artist Jesse Darling.
