Franck Genser and Tonester Paints brought a serene yet powerful environment to life at Alcova Miami 2025, where material, light, and emotion converged, resonating deeply with visitors throughout the week.

The installation offers an immersive exploration of organic materials, including alabaster, wood, sculptural volumes, and atmospheric hues that shift like light across the sky. Rooted in raw natural elements and influenced by the expressive strength of brutalist design, the environment examined the balance between solidity and softness, mass and movement.

Franck Genser's carved alabaster lighting showcased the stone's innate luminosity, while a monumental stone table anchored the setting with a sense of quiet presence. A curved armchair in soft velvet introduced tactile warmth, softening the room's architectural edges. Sculptural lighting, animated by concealed technology, created a subtle, breath-like rhythm that visitors described as meditative and emotionally transporting.

The installation was enveloped in Tonester's signature blue palette, French Blue and Secret Society, applied in nuanced layered tones that evoked the meeting point of earth and sky. The result was a contemplative environment that offered moments of calm and grounding amid the energy of Miami Art and Design Week.

The presentation also features artwork by Nicolle Cure, whose ethereal layered compositions blended fluid brushwork and intricate line work, adding additional texture, depth, and reflective stillness to the experience.

"Moonlight, Skylight" stood as a poetic intersection of craft, color, and emotion, leaving a memorable imprint on Alcova Miami 2025 and its international audience.

ABOUT FRANCK GENSER

Fascinated by the soul of objects and all dimensions of their influence on the individual, Franck Genser founded his creative studio in Paris in 2015. There, he brings together a multidisciplinary team composed of engineers and artisans. To create his furniture pieces, he draws inspiration from his imagination and explores the fields of perception. His creations combine functionality, art, and emotion.

An engineer by training and an entrepreneur by passion, Franck Genser also expresses himself in more unexpected fields such as Gestalt therapy. An approach focused on the constant interaction between the human being and their environment.

Form becomes the foremost function, emerging from inspiration without necessarily being tied to a specific use. Driven by a sensitive aesthetic, Franck Genser does not hesitate to blend different exceptional skills to create a piece. He particularly works with noble materials that will develop a patina over time, such as walnut, parchment, marble, and Japanese lacquer. This unique approach results in objects brimming with emotion. They fit into a heritage perspective, serving as a current and future testimony of our era.
