| | | | 20th edition: twenty years of commitment and 100 laureates Founded in 2006 by the architect and researcher Jana Revedin, the Global Award for Sustainable ArchitectureTM annually recognizes five architects, urban planners or landscape designers whose work embodies a responsible and innovative vision of sustainability. The 2027 edition will mark the 20th edition of the Award and bring the total number of laureates honored since its inception to 100. This internationally active and committed community shares a common ambition: to promote sustainable architectural ethics and to encourage research, experimentation and knowledge-sharing in the fields of architecture, urban transformation and social responsibility. Placed under the patronage of UNESCO since 2011 and supported by the International Union of Architects (UIA) since 2024, the Award has established itself as an international network of ideas and action. Much more than a think tank, the Global Award has truly become a do tank, where research, experimentation and knowledge sharing fuel concrete transformations at all scales. |
