For the 2026 edition of the Rising Talent Awards, Maison&Objet Pulse celebrates South Africa, a thriving creative territory whose design scene is now shining far beyond the African continent. Between Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban, a new generation of designers is developing singular approaches where cultural heritage, craftsmanship, innovation, and contemporary storytelling converge. Traditional know-how engages in dialogue with new technologies, local materials, and the challenges of tomorrow.
