| | | | Founded by designer Samantha Gallacher, ART+LOOM brings an expressive approach to bespoke rugs, transforming the floor into a canvas for color, texture, and pattern. Drawing on Gallacher's background in interiors and textile design, the brand creates pieces that give spaces a distinct visual identity, balancing artistic expression with the personal vision behind each project. |

| | | | CRAFTED FOR INDIVIDUAL EXPRESSION
At the heart of ART+LOOM is the belief that a rug should feel as considered as every other element of an interior space. Handmade and made to order, the rugs can be customized in color, shape, size, and pile height, so each design responds to its space. Materials include wool, silk, mohair and linen, offering varied possibilities for texture and finish. Beyond adapting existing designs, ART+LOOM offers a bespoke process that translates an original concept into a finished rug. Whether the starting point is a specific pattern, a palette, or inspiration drawn from the surrounding world, the approach invites designers and clients to bring their own ideas into the creative process. |

| | | | AN EYE FOR COLOR AND TEXTURE
Gallacher's design perspective draws inspiration from art, nature, and fashion. A graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, she also holds a marketing degree from Lehigh University and began her career working with established New York designers, including Glenn Gissler, Bob Kaner, and Kureck and Jones. Her experience later expanded into product and textile design, with work for West Elm, Max Home, and Raj Overseas. |

| | | | BEYOND THE RUG SAMANTHA GALLACHER IS AN INSPIRED DESIGNER, PASSIONATE ABOUT COLLABORATIVE WORK In May 2026, Gallacher and designer Andreea Avram Rusu opened Untold Editions, a New York gallery devoted to and led by designers to showcase their collections and feature other independent studios. ART+LOOM is shown there alongside pieces Gallacher has developed with Avram Rusu, Parts + Assembly, and Manifeste Editions.
Gallacher also teamed up with Anaïs Fillau, founder of stone brand Manifeste Edition, on ALCHEMY, a furniture collection that combines stone, fabric, wood, metal and acrylic in sculptural forms. It marks ART+LOOM's first move into furniture. Artist collaborations are also central to ART+LOOM's own collections. Gallacher invites artists to work with the studio and turns their work into rugs. Recent partners include Koketit and Katrien Van Der Schueren. |

| | | | See Art+Loom's Newest Collab with Artist Katrien Van Der Schueren Art+Loom has partnered with Los Angeles-based sculptural artist Katrien Van Der Schueren on a collection of six handwoven rugs that translate her exploration of material, texture, and form into functional works of art. Crafted in wool and silk, each design draws from an original artwork, preserving its sculptural relief, movement, and irregularity while bringing Van Der Schueren's tactile language into a new medium.
