Holistic Wellbeing Through Design:

How Faro Barcelona enhances spaces with wellness-focused ventilation and lighting

Faro Barcelona approaches wellbeing as a multisensory experience. Comfort is shaped by how air moves, how light is perceived, and how materials interact with daily life. Through real projects in hospitality and residential settings, the brand demonstrates how lighting and ventilation can actively support physical comfort, emotional balance, and healthier interiors.

Natural Airflow and Wellness at The Ritual Hotel, Kos

Product: KLIM ceiling fan

Ceiling fans offer one of the healthiest ways to regulate indoor comfort. Unlike air conditioning, they create gentle air movement without drying the air or causing sudden temperature changes, helping maintain respiratory comfort and a more stable indoor climate.

The KLIM ceiling fan delivers smooth, quiet airflow through an energy efficient DC motor, reducing the perceived temperature by up to 15°F. Designed for year round use, it includes six speed settings and a reverse function for winter circulation.

Beyond performance, its combination of a black motor and FSC certified walnut blades adds warmth and visual softness, making it well suited to hospitality environments focused on rest and wellbeing.

Responsible design as a foundation

Sustainability is an integral part of Faro Barcelona's approach to wellbeing. All wooden ceiling fans are FSC certified, ensuring responsible forest management and traceable sourcing. This commitment connects environmental responsibility with human comfort, reinforcing the idea that healthier interiors begin with conscious material choices.

Why it matters

  • Supports natural thermal comfort without aggressive cooling
  • Improves air circulation while preserving humidity levels
  • FSC certified wood links wellbeing to responsible material sourcing

Atmosphere and Visual Harmony in a Family Home by Volves Interiors

Product: NAOS pendant lamps

Lighting plays a crucial role in how a home feels and functions. Soft, diffused light reduces visual strain, supports daily routines, and helps create a calm, welcoming environment.

In this family home, NAOS pendant lamps hang above the dining area of an open plan living space. Their warm, balanced glow anchors shared moments while complementing oak cabinetry and natural finishes.

Rather than acting as a focal point, the lighting quietly supports the rhythm of everyday life, reinforcing a sense of cohesion and ease throughout the space.

Why it matters

  • Encourages visual comfort and relaxed use of shared spaces
  • Enhances natural materials and warm color palettes
  • Demonstrates how lighting contributes to emotional wellbeing

Across different interiors, Faro Barcelona shows that wellness is not an add-on but a design strategy. When lighting and ventilation are treated as partners, spaces become more comfortable, more balanced, and better aligned with how people live, rest, and recharge.
