Zone Denmark has been extremely productive in recent years. The brand has launched numerous design innovations and expanded the scope of its range to include multiple categories. The six coveted awards thus go to very different products, all of which bear the hallmarks of Zone Denmark: form, simplicity, functionality - and innovation:

Among other things, the Red Dot Award Committee has rewarded Zone Denmark for developing products that reflect the times we live in:
A well-deserved Red Dot Award for beautiful design goes to the highly relevant UME dispenser with a sensor for soap and hand sanitizer gel. There was also a Red Dot for the fabulous handbag-sized GoClean hand sanitiser dispenser. It ran away with the award in the Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories category, adding a brand-new must-have to the perfect outfit. Both were designed in collaboration with VE2 of Denmark.

Another Red Dot went to the brand's multifunctional A-table, also designed by VE2 and available in two sizes. The charming 'Bird' wine stopper in Zone's ROCKS wine and cocktail collection has not just snapped up one Red Dot Award. It also won a Red Dot Innovation Award for the brilliant features built into the figurine-like design by design duo mencke&vagnby.

Finally, the panel fell for the beautiful new ceramics in the INU range, designed in collaboration with Neu Studio. The range, which has now won a Red Dot Award, consists of a carafe, little sip cups and matching bowls for snacks.  

"We're beginning to feel quite envious of ourselves," laughs Design & Brand Manager Michael Bruun, who, along with the rest of the Zone team, will receive the awards in early summer. He continues: "We sometimes win awards, but when it's six at once of an award as coveted as the Red Dot, it just about leaves you speechless!"

Red Dot

Red Dot is the world's largest product competition and one of the most sought-after quality stamps for good design. Every year, Red Dot's panel awards a number of prizes for product design, brand and communication design and design concepts. The winners are selected from among companies that excel in superb design, quality and innovation.
