Through November 11, 2025, Le Jacquard Français and Tréca Paris, leading names in luxury linens and bedding, are partnering with the creative collective Uchronia on a new large-scale installation at the Plaza Athénée.

The project transforms the space into a setting for reflection and wonder, where contemporary creativity comes together with the grandeur of the hotel's architecture.

A bold collaboration between design and exceptional craftsmanship
 

Conceived as a celebration of French savoir-faire, the installation creates a subtle dialogue between Uchronia's distinctive aesthetic, the Plaza Athénée's commitment to promoting art in all its forms, and the timeless refinement of these two French Maisons.
 

At the heart of the work, a monumental bed is dressed in Le Jacquard Français fabrics from the Végétal Mood collection, a line featuring delicate, contemporary botanical motifs specially produced in coated fabric for the occasion. The custom coverlet and pillow shams highlight the richness of the weaves from the storied house, founded in 1888.
 

Anchoring the composition, a bespoke headboard crafted by Tréca Paris takes center stage. This collaboration follows the momentum of the installation presented during Paris Design Week 2024 at the Hôtel de la Marine. This new expression of the "Day Bed" continues to celebrate art and design within one of Paris's most iconic settings of elegance.

On view through November 11, 2025, the installation transforms the Plaza Athénée's Cour Jardin into a space of timeless contemplation. Inspired by the hotel's architecture and signature colors —a subtle interplay of rich reds and soothing greens —the work evokes both the comfort of a dreamlike bedroom and the evocative power of a work of art.

The project is led by Univers Uchronia, highlighting the richness and diversity of French savoir-faire:
 

- Ceramic tiles by Palet, playing with light and reflection

- A bespoke headboard crafted by Tréca Paris

- Decorative textiles by Misia, including floral-shaped cushions and drapery

- Paints by Seigneurie, adding texture and depth to the installation

This collaboration embodies a shared vision: bringing together French craftsmanship and contemporary creation within one of Paris's most iconic landmarks. Through this sculptural bed, Le Jacquard Français and Tréca Paris demonstrate their ability to move seamlessly into the worlds of art and design.
