| | Metamorphosis A first interpretation of the theme Past Reveals Future |
| |
| |
|
| | While Maison&Objet returns this January with a theme rooted in its heritage yet turned toward tomorrow, different trends will embody it both on-site and internationally. Meet Chloé Ailleret, co-founder of the design agency Goodmoods, on Thursday, January 15 at 11 a.m., for an immersive decoding session in the Talks space (Hall 3). The first chapter of this four-part waltz: Metamorphosis. In search of meaning within a world shaken by the ecological crisis, overconsumption, and standardization, we no longer throw away, we transform! In 2026, creation reinvents itself by drawing from what already exists. Objects dare to change shape, function, and even meaning. The figure of the creator flirts with that of the artist, repurposing everyday waste to imagine the narratives of tomorrow. |

| | Lionel Jadot on a quest to conquer a tangible world! |
| |
| |
|
| | From December 3 to 6, live from Maison&Objet Hong Kong, Belgian designer Lionel Jadot shares his vision of an engaged metamorphosis. Both grounded and dreamlike, it is called Anthropocene Adhocsime. Lionel Jadot: "We live in an illusion. A world saturated with waste, artificial images, and frenzied consumption. A world that, deep down, is nothing more than virtual reality. But behind this façade lies a virtuous parallel universe: a world where matter speaks for itself, where waste is transformed, where nature finds its voice again." For the duration of an exhibition, Lionel Jadot adapts his approach to a hospitality space. The hotel room becomes an immersive, sensory, and unique experience. Magic happens. Luxury becomes an answer to a quest for meaning. |
