AlUla Design Award : an award for exceptional design inspired by heritage and landscape The AlUla Design Award (ADA) is an Open Call that invites established and emerging designers to conceptualise and propose exceptional products inspired by the locale. A jury of recognised design leaders will evaluate submissions in three stages - a shortlist of 20 designs from the original submissions; 10 finalists to be exhibited at the Paris Design Week (PDW); and 5 winners will be announced on 7 September at PDW. This is the second edition of the award inviting Saudi, regional, and international designers to create outstanding designs in categories including jewelry, footwear, clothing, home accessories and leather goods. After a successful first edition, Nora AlDabal, Arts and Creative Planning Director at the Royal Commission of AlUla (RCU), announced the second edition of AlUla Design Award in January 2023,
