Veronese, a Paris-based design house renowned for its elegant French designs combined with the expert craftsmanship of Murano glass, introduces its latest collection, LIDO. This collection embodies the picturesque coastal charm of the Italian Lido.

"For me, Lido is a contemporary interpretation of Murano glassmaking, representing the core of Veronese's identity." Ruben Jochimek

LIDO, designed in collaboration with Bruno Moinard, features a harmonious mix of traditional and contemporary design, resulting in pieces that are both classic and modern. The collection showcases the essence of the Italian shoreline, with delicate accents and a natural vibe that brings a slice of the Mediterranean to any environment. The collection is a bold statement, with grand and eye-catching features that evoke the peace and beauty of the Lido.

"What drew me to this project was not an examination of the overall brand but to immerse myself deeper and discover its existing elements. And, from there, develop a product in my own style.... find a detail I can magnify, and then transform it into something contemporary." Bruno Moinard

The design of the LIDO is rooted in the iconic 18th-century Rezzonico chandelier. Designer and architect Bruno Moinard was drawn to the small blown Murano glass elements, called Bossettes, that encased the chandelier's arms and fit together seamlessly. Moinard extracted this glass element, magnified it, and gave it a contemporary makeover to create the LIDO collection.

The LIDO is characterized by its flexibility and versatility, offering endless design possibilities. The structural system can be adapted to fit a variety of dimensions, compositions, and interior design styles. Currently, the collection includes two large-scale suspensions, each with its unique design that complements the other as a part of a composition or as a standalone piece. In the future, the collection will expand to include sconces, smaller suspensions, and more.
