| | | | « NOUVEAU SOUFFLE » What's New? In Retail & Retail Coaching, a vision by Pauline Glaizal From September 10 to 14, 2026, Maison&Objet becomes the stage for a new creative momentum through the theme PULSE IN MOTION. At the helm of the What's New? In Retail space, Pauline Glaizal embraces it to imagine a territory, a breathing space, at the heart of market transformations. |

|
| | | | When asked, "What do you hear in Pulse in Motion?", Pauline Glaizal explains: "In Pulse: a vibration, a palpitation, a beat, a rhythm. In in Motion: a collective drive, a manifesto, a move to action, a shared energy, a collective innovation driven by common energy." In response, "Nouveau Souffle", her space located in Hall 7, invites visitors to an immersive and sensory stroll, at the heart of a selection of vibrant pieces and emerging talents spotted directly within the fair's offerings. A manifesto of "in motion" design takes shape, embodied by pragmatic "shop the look" assortments to support coherent sourcing. |

| | | | A STORY WRITTEN BY PAULINE GLAIZAL "I walk through the minimalist entrance of a stand that looks like an XXL greenhouse, whose handwritten-style title 'Nouveau Souffle sparks curiosity. The hostess takes my hand and, with a lovely wooden stamp, imprints a stylized flower, a temporary tattoo, signing my wrist as one would sign a book with an ex libris. |
| | |
| |
|
| | | | I move forward and, amazed, discover a field of flowers bathed in soft, soothing light, like early morning. Mmm... it smells like flowers... I feel a gentle breeze brushing against my face... A new wind is blowing through design and decoration... I continue my journey and approach podiums emerging from the flower field like floating islands in levitation. This metaphorically evokes the "young shoots of design" highlighted at the fair. On each one, I discover a highly inspiring display: a designer piece is showcased, and from it, an eclectic assortment of products is composed, candles, soaps, furniture, décor, lighting, tableware... All connected through their style. I discover many new brands and products. It's beautiful, I wish I could take this display and recreate it exactly in my own home. |

|
| | | | Around me, the walls come alive with video portraits of designers. The grain is vintage, adding even more poetry to the installation. These projections echo the displayed products and create movement in the space. They are short interview excerpts that set the rhythm of the journey and teach me more about the genesis of each object, as well as the designer's practice and universe. Let's scan the QR code! I can't wait to watch the full content. I reach the end of the journey, facing that fully transparent nomadic cabin I had been observing from afar. It is actually a designer's studio, a mobile refuge from which to observe nature, the world, society. A space to disconnect in order to reconnect and create, to innovate by drawing inspiration from one's environment. This studio is both an observatory and a showcase where one can glimpse the designer's new uses. There is no desk, no tools, just a lounge-like setting arranged with a few pieces that seem chosen for their function, aesthetics, and story. The only working tool is a computer placed on a low table scattered with post-its, sketches, and material samples. And in a corner, on a console, a 3D printer. This studio is a true manifesto revealing the new practices and thinking of the new generation of design. I leave the stand, my hand adorned with a lovely paper flower that was given to me. I hesitate to slip it into my jacket as a boutonnière, or perhaps it would look better in the ceramic vase in the kitchen... Or maybe in my hair? Perfect! There's even a tag with a QR code to revisit all the content and continue the experience on the RER on my way back home. Ahh... (inhale, exhale) a nouveau souffle..." |

4 PARTNERS TO AWAKEN THE SENSES |

| |
|
| | | | A sculptural botanical scenography with FORMA The immersive experience at the heart of the What's New? In Retail space comes to life through a floral installation conceived as a field of living sculptures. The Paris-based studio FORMA enhances the visitor journey with compositions that explore purity of form, combining refinement and singularity. True to an eco-responsible approach, the studio favors seasonal production and sustainable creation techniques, without the use of floral foam. A haute couture botanical intervention that transforms the space into an organic experience, where the beauty of nature meets the standards of contemporary design. |
| | A bespoke olfactory signature with EMOSENS The immersive experience extends through an olfactory dimension conceived as a true sensory signature. EMOSENS enhances the space with its connected diffuser "SIX", a made-in-France solution enabling remote control of intensity, diffusion schedules, and refill monitoring. A discreet technology serving a carefully crafted atmosphere, embedding the experience in visitors' emotional memory. |

|
| | | | An exclusive visual imprint by Ex-Libris Paris To mark the entrance into this universe, Ex-Libris Paris has designed a unique "Nouveau Souffle" stamp, applied to each visitor's wrist as an access ritual, much like at a festival. Founded by Lauren Easum, the house draws on heraldry and traditional engraving to create unique emblems, blending craftsmanship with visual storytelling. An intervention that transforms a simple gesture into a symbol of belonging to the experience. |
| | A tactile and poetic keepsake with Studio About Finally, the experience extends beyond the space through a thoughtful gesture: a flower specially created by Studio About and offered to the first visitors upon exit. True to its colorful and expressive design approach, the Danish studio imagines an object that is both aesthetic and emotional, designed to be taken away, kept, and reinterpreted. A delicate way to anchor the memory in everyday life. |
