| | Maison&Objet unveils a preview of its "What's New? trend areas, inspired by the January theme of inspiration: Sur/Reality! Sur/Reality willingly conjures up the faux and the bizarre, inviting us to play with digital technology and the infinite random scenarios made possible by AI. Questioning reality and arousing curiosity through a form of abnormality invites us to reconnect with our instinctive creativity. The means of bringing the marvellous out of a sometimes over-established order opens up rich and fertile creative fields. What's New? spaces anchor our desires in reality by delivering concrete solutions: Here's a sneak preview of how experts Elizabeth Leriche and François Delclaux interpret Sur/Reality based on retail and interior design trends and the new products presented at the January show! |

| | Designed as a concept store, François Delclaux's WHAT'S NEW? IN RETAIL space will present an array of highlights within a single environment. Essential for retailers, the space is split into two parts. On the right, visitors will discover a curated selection of products from exhibitors, divided into four themes: Curiosity Cabinet, Daydreams & Pleasure, Illusions, and Natureculture. Inspired by Sur/Reality, these items are the artistic creations of the playful designs of Fluid Market- they share a common thread of hyper-reality, marked by singularity and even extravagance in form, material, color, or purpose. On the left, the Retail Coaching area will host free talks and workshops led by retail experts. |

| | Elizabeth Leriche's What's New? In Decor space will translate the theme into a tangible design through a curated selection of products sourced from exhibitors. For Sur/Reality, she begins with a transcended reality that delves into the subconscious, dreams, and the imagination... Elizabeth Leriche has envisioned a vast labyrinth, symbolising the unconscious, offering visitors an immersive and dreamlike journey. The selection will merge the strange and the marvellous, with a touch of the erotic. A playful exploration of scale and proportion will allow objects to be seen from new perspectives, creating a world where past and future converge. Visitors can also step into the Dream Chamber, celebrating the importance of imagination, words, and poetry. |

| | Julien Sebban has been given full creative freedom to reimagine the space, offering a fresh perspective on - and for - the hospitality sector. The architect and designer has envisioned Hôtel Uchronia, an ambitious project that reflects his signature unconventional style and penchant for challenging traditional norms. Visitors will encounter a 200-square-meter space where reality is completely reimagined. The structure, monolithic and mysterious in appearance, reveals a warm and dreamlike interior that engages the senses through carefully curated soundscapes and fragrances. This project epitomises relaxed luxury, blending Julien Sebban's playful approach with an exploration of suspended time, paying tribute to the theme of Sur/Reality. |
