AGUIRRE, the family-run furniture and lighting studio founded in New York, has officially opened its first Miami showroom, marking the brand's expansion beyond New York City and establishing a new home in one of the country's most dynamic design markets. Located in Miami's Little River neighborhood, the showroom offers designers, architects, and collectors an opportunity to experience Aguirre Design's sophisticated approach to form, material, and craftsmanship firsthand. The new space brings the studio's distinctive body of work closer to South Florida's growing design community and the region's luxury residential and hospitality projects. The showroom currently houses "Poles Apart," AGUIRRE's newest collection of hand-cast bronze furniture and objects. Rooted in contrast and the transitions between opposing elements, "Poles Apart" spans benches, daybeds, sofas, stools, mirrors and side tables. Each cast-bronze piece moves between rough and polished, dark and luminous, weight and lightness, reflecting the way these extremes coexist throughout the natural world. The collection continues AGUIRRE's exploration of texture and material transformation while introducing a new evolution in the studio's design language. Through sculptural forms and richly worked surfaces, each piece reveals the expressive possibilities of bronze and the marks left by the human hand. |
