Hug Lamp: A warm embrace in porcelain

Inspired by Constantin Brancusi's Le Baiser, the Hug Lamp is more than illumination - it is an intimate gesture, an embrace frozen in time and softened by light. Crafted from matte porcelain, its sculptural form radiates warmth, transforming any space into a serene and evocative haven. Whether placed on a bedside table, a console, or a workspace, the Hug Lamp is not just a design object - it is an experience, a quiet companion to the rhythm of everyday life.

Boomerang Collection: The poetry of flight in alabaster

The Boomerang Collection, the latest addition to Genser's Sea Side ensemble, captures the elegance of movement and weightlessness. Like a bird in flight or the sweeping arc of a boomerang, these luminous alabaster suspensions float effortlessly in space, diffusing a soft, ethereal glow. True to his philosophy, Genser allows form to lead the design, creating pieces that are not merely functional but deeply expressive. The Boomerang luminaires invite contemplation-sensitive works of art that interact with their environment in a meditative way.

With these two new creations, Franck Genser continues to challenge conventions in lighting design. The Hug Lamp and the Boomerang Collection stand as sculptural beacons of warmth, simplicity, and emotional resonance-manifestos of light as an art form.

Driven by a sensitive aesthetic, Franck Genser does not hesitate to blend different exceptional skills to create a piece. He particularly works with noble materials that will develop a patina over time, such as walnut, parchment, marble, and Japanese lacquer.

This unique approach results in objects brimming with emotion. They fit into a heritage perspective, serving as a current and future testimony of our era.
