Founded by Samantha Gallacher (Art+Loom) and Andreea Avram Rusu (Avram Rusu Studio), Untold Editions brings together two distinct practices to create a space where functional art and high craftsmanship are presented directly by its creators. Located at 20 West 20th Street, Untold Editions departs from the traditional curator-led gallery format, instead positioning itself as a living platform driven by the vision, material sensibility, and creative dialogue of its founders. |

| | | | The opening exhibits additional works by Franck Genser, Manifeste Edition, Mary Ratcliffe, Billiani, Aguirre, Virginia Arlotta, Parts+Assembly, Casey Johnson, Kayla OD, and custom drapery by WOVN Home contribute to a curated environment defined by material integrity and artisanal production. “Untold Editions was conceived as a New York gallery dedicated to distinctive works that merge art with function, curated by the makers themselves for a discerning collector,” says Samantha Gallacher. “We wanted to move beyond the traditional gallery model and propose something more intimate - one that reflects how people live with design, where material, light, and form come together in a cohesive narrative,” adds Andreea Avram Rusu. |

| | | | Andreea Avram Rusu - Avram Rusu Studio Founded in 2004, Avram Rusu Studio is the New York-based practice of Romanian-born artist, architect, and designer Andreea Avram Rusu. The studio first emerged from an exploration of sculptural, integrated illumination shaped by her work in architecture and interiors, and has since developed into a singular body of lighting, furniture, objects, and rugs that increasingly occupies the realm of illuminated sculpture. Rusu's work is defined by bold, elemental form and a precise command of material and light. Often conceived in direct relationship to architecture and at an installation scale, it joins sculptural presence with rigorous attention to construction, engineering, and detail. Developed through hands-on experimentation and iterative full-scale prototyping, all lighting is made to order in the studio's Brooklyn studio, where each piece is closely overseen from fabrication through finish. |
