| | Berlin has gained a new culinary landmark — and it sits at dizzying heights! On June 3, 2025, Sphere Tim Raue will open its doors 207 meters above the ground in the iconic Berlin TV Tower, offering a contemporary take on Berlin-Brandenburg cuisine created by the city's most renowned Michelin-starred chef, Tim Raue. Tickets for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the restaurant can be booked online at www.tv-turm.de. The revolving restaurant Sphere Tim Raue is open daily from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The redesign of the Berliner Fernsehturm preserves its historical essence by thoughtfully integrating original elements, like reupholstered chairs, retrofitted lamps, and table frames, into a contemporary setting. Extensive archival research informed a design that balances bright, panoramic spaces with intimate, darker zones, enhancing both the view and the atmosphere. The lighting concept, carefully engineered to reduce window reflections, ensures the cityscape remains the star, creating a warm, immersive experience from day to night. |

| | "The TV Tower is the symbol of Berlin - for me, as a Berliner, it's a heartfelt mission to shape this place through food and bring East and West together on one plate," says Raue. His concept: a modern Berlin-Brandenburg cuisine shaped by his signature flavor triad of sweetness, acidity, and spice. |

| | The culinary offering is as diverse as the city itself, making Germany's highest restaurant a place for everyone - whether tourist or local, family, couple, or business traveler. The day begins with breakfast high above the city rooftops. Highlights include the Sphere Breakfast (€25) with Brandenburg cheese, house-cured salmon, and a berry smoothie, or the Vegan Breakfast (€25) with avocado toast, tomato compote, and chickpea spread. Lighter options include a granola bowl with fresh berries, nuts, chia seeds, and yogurt (€11.50), or a popular Crodot - a donut made from croissant dough - in sweet or savory varieties. |
| |
| |
| | | | From midday on, the menu becomes deeply personal: Tim Raue presents dishes that reflect his culinary journey. These include the KaDeWe-style shrimp cocktail (€16), a formative experience in his life, and Soljanka with Schrippe (€11.50), an homage to the TV Tower's GDR roots. Signature classics include his veal Königsberger Klopse (€28), once served to Barack Obama and Angela Merkel, and Grandma Gerda's pork knuckle (€28). |
| |
| |
| | For a special treat, guests can enjoy beef medallions in truffle cream sauce (€36), pike-perch with braised cucumbers (€29), or plant-based options such as the planted steak (€36). |
| |
| |
| | Menus receive particular attention: choose from the "Hot & Cold" menu with currywurst and dessert (€29), a vegan three-course menu, or the classic Berlin schnitzel menu (each €44). A standout experience is the "My Homeland - Tim Raue's Berlin & Brandenburg" four-course menu including aperitif, drink pairing, and coffee (€125). |

| | Ingredients and many beverages are sourced primarily from regional producers, including Landhof Rahlf in Ahrensfelde, the Patrizier coffee roastery in Strausberg, Berlin's traditional Mampe distillery, and local brewery BRLO. All wines and sparkling wines are sourced exclusively from Germany, featuring vineyards such as Dreissigacker, Markus Schneider, Neiss, Franz Keller, and Sekthaus Raumland. In collaboration with sommelier André Macionga, exclusive cuvées have been created especially for Sphere Tim Raue. |

| | "Tim's currywurst is already a true classic at our bar - it doesn't get more Berlin than that. But I'm especially excited about his legendary Königsberger Klopse," says Anja Nitsch, managing director of the Berlin TV Tower. "This dish reminds me of countless family moments and embodies everything Berlin stands for: warmth, tradition, and a deep sense of connection." |
