During Maison&Objet In the City, Franck Genser's showroom became a quiet pause within the rhythm of Paris design week. The collection was revealed in an intimate, lived-in setting, where conversations unfolded around the work of talented artisans. More than a formal presentation, the evening felt like an invitation into the designer's world, allowing visitors to experience the pieces as part of everyday life rather than isolated objects.

As guests moved through the apartment, the space itself shaped the experience, framing moments of reflection, exchange, and discovery. Design, light, and atmosphere entered into a subtle dialogue, capturing the spirit of the event and offering an intimate perspective on the collection within the context of the city.

Throughout the apartment, a selection of signature pieces anchored the space and guided the experience. The Brutalist Table asserted a quiet sculptural presence, its materiality grounding the room with a sense of permanence. Elsewhere, the Cascade Fan 360  wall light introduced a softer rhythm, casting light that shifted with the architecture and animated the surrounding surfaces. The Scarf Sofa and Scarf Armchair each created their own moments of pause, their generous, enveloping forms inviting guests to slow down and engage with the space in a more intimate way.

Driven by a sensitive aesthetic, Franck Genser does not hesitate to blend different exceptional skills to create a piece. He particularly works with noble materials that will develop a patina over time, such as walnut, parchment, marble, and Japanese lacquer.

This unique approach results in objects brimming with emotion. They fit into a heritage perspective, serving as a current and future testimony of our era.
