From September 4-8, 2025, Maison&Objet will look firmly to the future, spotlighting a new generation of designers who are committed, daring, and bringing a fresh perspective to design, lifestyle, and responsible manufacturing. Through three flagship programs - Rising Talent Awards, Future On Stage, and the Factory spaces - the show builds a unique ecosystem in support of emerging talent.

Rising Talent Awards - Germany: Design as a Living Legacy

 
 
 
 

This year, the Rising Talent Awards celebrate the German avant-garde. Staying true to its Bauhaus and Werkbund roots, this new wave of talent embodies the perfect balance of functionality, sustainability, and technological innovation.

 

Meet the talents to watch:

  • Friedrich Gerlach, exploring biotech and 3D-printed materials
  • Studio Œ, a Berlin-based duo known for their sensitive, experimental universe
  • Haus Otto, redefining sustainability through resource-sharing
  • Gerlach & Heilig, a narrative duo merging material and memory
  • Marie Luise Stein, an expert in modular and circular design
  • Moritz Walter, designer of simple and intuitive solutions
  • Gabriel Tarmassi, winner of the Rising Talent Craft Prize, for his organic wooden sculptures

Future On Stage: A Launchpad for New Entrepreneurs

 
 
 
 

For its 6th edition, Future On Stage joins the Design District and honors three young, creative, and committed companies. The jury - including leading industry figures such as Vincent Grégoire (NellyRodi) and Florence Delage (Le Bon Marché) - has selected the following winners:

 

  • Drobe (Oslo): Founded by Milla Lack, this suitcase unfolds into a wardrobe, designed for new modes of urban travel.
  • Yüssée (Paris): A sensory brand founded by Yuan Yuan and Cédric Guennoc, offering immersive tasting boxes inspired by the five senses and traditional Chinese seasons, aligning with the natural rhythm of the year.
  • Hilo (Monaco): Founded by Adeline Michelotti, this brand is revolutionizing furniture with modular, drill-free solutions - ideal for urban living spaces.

The three winners will showcase their creations in a dedicated area within the Design District, benefiting from a free booth and personalized support to help accelerate their growth.

Factory by Paris Design Week 

 

For the past 15 years, Paris Design Week Factory has been a launchpad for emerging creatives in the Marais district. Maison&Objet extends this momentum through Factory by Paris Design Week, offering six former participants a turnkey B2B space within the Villepinte exhibition center. Integrated into the Design District (Hall 5A), they benefit from increased visibility and professional support to help accelerate their commercial growth.

A Showcase for the Next Generation with the Factory Émergence Space
 

Named Factory Émergence (supported by CAT with the backing of Francéclat), this 24 m² space will highlight a selection of emerging brands in the fields of tableware and culinary items. Paris Design Week Factory 2025: Emerging Talents Take Over the Marais

 
 
 
 

From September 4-8, Paris Design Week Factory will highlight 150 up-and-coming talents from 30 countries, showcased across five venues in the Marais district. Curated by Jean-Baptiste Anotin and Thibault Huguet (Meet Met Met), the exhibition presents prototypes, self-published pieces, and artisanal creations. The event unfolds around four themes, spread between Galerie Joseph (rues Commines and Turenne) and two galleries dedicated to the Chinese design scene (rue Froissart and rue de Turenne).
